Got to love a dahlia, especially in abstract form. I love love love the colour scheme of this painting. I really wanted muted tones to celebrate the purity of form and colour of these darling dahlias. The pot is one I would wish to make if I were a potter. The red table cloth is ancient, belonged to my dear gran aunt.
