A very abstract interpretation of poppies but my interpretation nonetheless. The blue strawberries were to contrast and draw the eye to the corners, grounding this vase and its poppies that seemingly float on the white washed country cottage wall. Inscribed in scrafitti is in part, the French poem, 'Les fleurs du mal'.
