I just can't describe the feeling of joy I get when I see this painting. It has a lot of texture as I painted many layers to get to this final top coat. Yet despite these layers there is somehow a sense of delicacy to this piece. The tulips may float freely amongst the brightly coloured grasses, up, up and away as if they were helium balloons.....
